Alexei-Ann German, LCSW

Founder, Psychotherapist

Hi, I’m Alexei-Ann—a clinical social worker and licensed mental health therapist with a passion for supporting Gen Z and millennial clients. As a first-generation Caribbean American, college graduate, and young professional, I understand the pressure to succeed and the toll it can take on your mental health. My approach is calming, collaborative, and trauma-informed. Together, we’ll work to realign your priorities, ease your stress, and empower you to thrive in all areas of your life.

My Approach

At Align Counseling Services, I create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, accepted, and empowered. I take a trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based approach to help you align with your best self.

Using evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and other cognitive therapies, I’ll support you in meeting your therapeutic goals. Together, we’ll navigate challenges and build the skills you need to thrive on your wellness and healing journey.

What You Can Expect

  • Sessions that feel supportive, calm, and centered on your goals.

  • A balance of talking through challenges and building actionable skills.

  • A judgment-free environment where all parts of you are welcome.

  • Progress at your own pace—whether you need space to process or are ready to dive into deeper work.

I bring a wealth of experience from working in behavioral health settings, where I supported children, adolescents, families, and survivors of domestic violence. These experiences deepened my understanding of the challenges individuals and families face when navigating trauma, relationships, and life transitions. In addition, I have specialized training and experience in maternal mental health, having worked in an inpatient setting supporting postpartum moms through the unique challenges of childbirth recovery, grief and loss, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
